About Us
Strider Reclaimed Goods started with a simple love for finding great pieces. Jackie Goodaker-Craig grew up in El Paso, Texas, where her dad owned a chain of apparel stores called Strider Pant Company in the 1970s. The name “Strider” is a nod to that history — and a way to carry the family name into something new.
In 2024, Jackie and her husband Caleb began thrifting furniture for their new home. They quickly realized they had an eye for vintage and unique finds, and started selling items online. What began as a side project grew fast, with sales through eBay, local markets, and pop-ups.
By 2025, they opened a storefront in Southwest Austin — right next to Jackie’s brow studio, Violet Crown Esthetics. Strider is now a joint effort, with Jackie, Caleb, and their daughter Violet all helping run the shop.
We carry a rotating mix of vintage and modern clothing, shoes, accessories, books, framed art, and home goods — plus whatever weird and interesting things we come across. Our Fresh Finds Rack is updated weekly (sometimes daily), and there’s always something new to check out.
Strider is about good design, slow fashion, and keeping history alive through reclaimed treasures.
